SCIFI continues to be an amazing partner and home for this series,\u201d said executive producers\/co-showrunners Dean Devlin and Jonathan Glassner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe success of The Ark is just another example of delivering on a promise to provide a wide spectrum of quality shows across our linear, cable and streaming portfolios,\u201d said Lisa Katz, President, Scripted Programming, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. \u201cHeading into space with Dean and Jonathan has truly been a trip worth taking and we\u2019re tremendously excited about how this otherworldly adventure will continues in season two.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Created by Dean Devlin, The Ark takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. The first of these missions on a spacecraft known as Ark One encounters a catastrophic event causing massive destruction and loss of life. With more than a year left to go before reaching their target planet, a lack of life-sustaining supplies and loss of leadership, the remaining crew must become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and survive.<\/p>\n<p>The season one of the series for the first time, in addition to the film crew from Serbia, also has a numerous number of Slavic Artists clients from Serbia and the region. In addition to Pavle Jerini\u0107 and Tiana Up\u010deva, who are among the main actors of the series, in \u201cThe Ark\u201d the roles are played by: Tamara Radovanovi\u0107 (as Jelena Griff), Jelena Moore (Stela Cogner), Milo\u0161 Cvetkovi\u0107 (Sasha Novak), Dominik \u010ci\u010dak (Harris Beckner), Tanasije \u0106aki\u0107 (Florian Rupnik), as well as actors who live and work in Serbia: Jessica Yemi (Naomi Spencer) and Steven Moore (William Mulchany).<\/p>\n<p>Dean Devlin (Independence Day, Stargate) and Jonathan Glassner (Stargate SG-1) are co-showrunners and executive producers alongside Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment.
